No. Fake AC Simulator produces zero BTUs of actual cooling. It does produce a very convincing wind sound and a satisfying blue background, which may or may not help psychologically. Results vary.
Tap the AC unit on screen. The background will shift from warm red to cool blue over 15 seconds, the louver fins will open, and the wind sound will start. Tap again to turn it off.
Use the − and + buttons above the AC unit. Temperature range is 16°C to 30°C. Lowering the temperature increases particle intensity and sound volume. It still doesn't actually cool anything.
At the bottom of the screen there are two rows of controls: the top row (COLOR) changes the AC unit's color theme across 5 options. The bottom row (MODEL) switches between 4 different AC unit designs — Classic, Slim, Premium, and Compact.
Check that your device is not on silent mode (the physical switch on the side of your iPhone). The app respects the silent switch. Also make sure your volume is turned up. The wind sound starts a second or two after turning the AC on.
That's intentional — the red background represents the heat in the room before the AC kicks in. Turn the AC on and watch it slowly transition to a cool blue.

The app is a satirical nod to European energy efficiency regulations that restrict certain AC units. It is a joke. Please do not use it as your primary cooling solution during a heatwave.
